Description:
KCES's Institute of Management and Research, Jalgaon, organized an industrial visit to Accent Pharma in Jammu and Kashmir from February 8th to 17th, 2024. This tour aimed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world industrial practices. The visit provided students an opportunity to gain insight into the workings of a pharmaceutical company, allowing them to observe various operational processes such as manufacturing, packaging, and quality control at Accent Pharma. The tour not only enhanced the students' understanding of corporate dynamics but also provided a platform to develop leadership skills and network with industry professionals. In addition to the educational focus, the trip offered students a refreshing break from routine academics as they explored cultural and natural landmarks like Patnitop, Srinagar, and Gulmarg.
Event Objective:
Objective of Visit/Tour: • To get insight into the internal workings of companies. • To see practical scenarios and events, to enhance understanding of industrial practices and corporate dynamics. • To establish a link between classroom theory and real-world practical concepts. • To observe how theoretical knowledge is applied in actual industrial settings. • To improve the corporate skills by interacting with industry professionals, • To learn about workflow, challenges, and opportunities within the corporate world. • To contextualize the learning by observing operations, processes, and technologies to get a real feel for how companies function. • To network with professionals, potentially leading to future job opportunities. • To break the monotony of routine academic work, the excursion tour refreshes the mind and relieves stress.
Event Outcome:
Enhanced Practical Knowledge: Students gained firsthand experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging, and quality control processes, complementing their theoretical understanding of business operations.
