Title: International Women's Day 2026

Description: On the occasion of International Women's Day, a guest lecture was organized at the KCES’s Institute of Management and Research for students. The session was delivered by Dr. Vijeta Singh, an advocate and professor at SS Maniyar Law College, on the theme “Human Rights and Women in India.” During her session, she discussed various cases of crimes against women in India and highlighted known issues such as the Nangli case and the Devadasi system. The institute also felicitated female faculty members for their achievements in the academic year 2025–26.

Event Objective: The objective of the session was to create awareness about women’s rights in India, educate students on legal provisions and human rights, and encourage understanding of gender equality, justice, and empowerment in society.

Event Outcome: The session enhanced students’ knowledge about women’s rights and legal frameworks, increased awareness of gender equality issues, and inspired them to respect and support women’s empowerment in society.
