Title: Poster Presentation

Description: The Department of MCA, KCES’s Institute of Management & Research (IMR), Jalgaon, organized a Poster Presentation Competition on 18th February 2026. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with a total of 15 entries from First Year MCA (FYMCA) students. The participants presented creative and informative posters on contemporary and emerging topics, including Impact of Artificial Intelligence in Human Resource Management, AI-Driven Recommendation Systems, and Data Visualization. The competition aimed to promote innovative thinking, research orientation, and effective visual communication among students. The event was successfully coordinated by Ms. Ankita Tiwari, who ensured the smooth conduct of all activities. The posters were evaluated by Ms. Rupali Narkhede from the MCA Department, based on criteria such as content relevance, creativity, clarity, and presentation. The winners of the competition were as follows: • 1st Prize: Aniket Patil • 2nd Prize: Purushottam Ahire • 3rd Prize: Tejas Mali The winners were felicitated with trophies by the Head of the Department, Mr. Uday S. Chatur. The competition successfully achieved its objectives by encouraging research-based learning, enhancing presentation and communication skills, and fostering a spirit of healthy academic competition among students. Overall, the event proved to be a valuable platform for students to showcase their knowledge, creativity, and analytical abilities.

Event Objective: Objectives of the Poster Presentation Competition To promote research-oriented learning among students by encouraging them to explore contemporary and emerging topics in the field of Computer Applications. To enhance analytical and critical thinking skills through the process of topic selection, content organization, and conceptual understanding. To develop effective visual communication skills by presenting ideas and technical concepts in a clear, concise, and creative poster format. To encourage creativity and innovation in designing and presenting academic content using graphical and illustrative techniques. To improve presentation and interpersonal skills by providing students with a platform to explain and defend their work before evaluators. To foster a spirit of healthy academic competition among students, motivating them to perform better and learn from peers. To provide exposure to current trends and technologies, particularly in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and emerging IT domains. To build confidence and self-expression among students through active participation in co-curricular academic activities.

Event Outcome: Demonstrate understanding of contemporary topics in Computer Applications such as AI, Data Analytics, and Visualization, Analyze and organize information effectively for academic presentation, Design and develop visually appealing and informative posters using appropriate tools and techniques, Communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently through oral and visual presentation, Exhibit creativity, innovation, and critical thinking in presenting solutions or ideas.
