A group of enthusiastic MCA (Integrated) First year students recently visited Jain Valley and Gandhi Teerth, embarking on a meaningful academic and cultural exposure tour. Jain Valley is a renowned eco-industrial hub known for its environment-friendly infrastructure and sustainable development models. It houses multiple industries focused on food processing, renewable energy, and organic farming. Gandhi Teerth is a museum and research center dedicated to the life and principles of Mahatma Gandhi. It showcases rare documents, letters, and exhibits that reflect Gandhi's philosophy and legacy.
Event Objective:
The primary objective of this field trip was to provide students with experiential learning through industrial exposure and to introduce them to sustainable practices and innovative industrial operations at Jain Valley. Additionally, the visit to Gandhi Teerth aimed to inculcate values of ethical leadership and social responsibility.
Event Outcome:
Students gained insights into real-world industrial operations and eco-friendly practices. Enhanced awareness about sustainable development and social responsibility. Encouraged interdisciplinary thinking by connecting industrial knowledge with ethical and social values.
